		Cimarron Alliance Group schedules meetings with city council candidatesxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Cimarron Alliance Group to hold interviews with candidates for CitCouncil beginning March 3, 2001, at 9:00 AM at The Center, our gay and lesbian community center located at 2135 NW 39th. Members of the Cimarron Board of Directors, along with interested member's of our community will question those candidates that have agreed to meet with us on various issues important to our community. At this time, only Ward 3 candidate David Carroll and Ward 7 candidate Roosevelt Milton have agreed to open a dialogue; however, Ward 1 candidate Mick Cornett and Incumbent Ward 7 Councilwoman Willa Johnson are interested in meeting but have not been scheduled at this time.
    Cimarron Alliance Group encourages all members of our community to get informed and to get out and vote. It's that simple.

    Cimarron Alliance Group (CAG) is currently scheduling interviews with all
willing candidates for the upcoming elections for Oklahoma City Council
beginning Saturday, March 3 at our gay and lesbian community center at 2135
NW 39th Street.
    All candidates have been contacted by phone, mail, fax, or combination
thereof. As of this time, only Ward 7 candidate Roosevelt Milton has agreed
to meet with CAG at 11:00 am. Other candidates have yet to commit to meeting
with the CAG Board of Directors and other interested individuals from the gay
and lesbian community.
      Further details will be forthcoming.
    For your information the following individuals are candidates:

    Ward 3:         David Carroll
