CarePoint's Funding
CarePoint, Inc., founded in October, 1992, is an Oklahoma nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes and qualifies as exempt under Section (501)(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
Oklahoma State Department of Health HIV/STD Service contracts with CarePoint, Inc. to deliver support services using Ryan White CARE Act Title II funding.
Oklahoma State Department of Rehabilitation Services contracts with CarePoint, Inc. to provide employment services, and assistance in job placement for qualified individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency contracts with CarePoint, Inc. to provide housing, rental, utility assistance, HIV housing case management and mental health services through the HUD-funded Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) Program.
The City of Oklahoma City contracts with CarePoint, Inc. to provide homeless assistance related to HIV/AIDS case management, outreach, nutritional counseling, employment, and early intervention clinical care through HUD's Supportive Housing Program.
Other income is received from private and corporate foundations, individual donors, and grants for HIV/AIDS projects.
