The following is
a press release from Club Liquid
(Posted 5-18-02)
NEW PLACE TO "HOOK
UP" COMING TO BRICKTOWN.
(AND IT AIN'T BASS PRO SHOP.)
Until now, "family-friendly
atmosphere" was a good enough reason for a lot
of us to avoid nightlife in Bricktown. But starting
Thursday, May 23rd, that phrase is going to take on a
whole new meaning.
That's when Club Liquid, located inside Windy City
Bistro, opens its fashionably funky, family-friendly
doors - and we're not talking about family of the
flesh-and-blood kind. (Although a little bit of flesh
is not necessarily a bad thing.)
Every Thursday night, beginning at 11 p.m., the
entire bar and front seating area of Windy City will,
quite literally, turn to Liquid. In conjunction with
XY Magazine, Club Liquid is working to create an 18-and-over
alternative for alternative lifestyles - in an
atmosphere that's open to anyone. Well, anyone who
wants to get a groove on.
With a large video screen and four television
monitors throughout the area, the visual energy will
be as intense as the music - produced and spun by DJ
Peace, with guest DJs from all over the country
featured once a month.
By day, Windy City Bistro will remain the Chicago-style
eatery that has made it an Oklahoma favorite. But
every Thursday night, the chefs will close up the
kitchen - and that's when things will really start
cookin'.
