PROGRESS
ON "THE STATE OF OUR COMMUNITY" I am very pleased to be able to report that
additional donations have been made toward the
expenses for GayOKC.com's "State of Our
Community" event. I have received donations and
pledges tonight from EQUAL! at Lucent
Technologies for $200, Central
Oklahoma Stonewall Democrats for $50, and Joann
Bell (ACLU of Oklahoma executive director)
for $50. This is in addition to the pledge of $100
from the Cimarron Alliance Foundation
and Jim Nimmo's donation of $20. I
am very grateful for the generosity of these groups
and individuals, and very proud to be working with
them to produce this event. I look forward to
bringing you more exciting news about this event on
GayOKC.com!
THAT
JOB WENT FAST! I received word today from Bohn Macrory at
Oklahoma City Research that the job which was posted
on GayOKC.com only 2 days ago has already been filled!
Bohn says next time they have a job opening he's
going to contact GayOKC.com sooner! Hmmm, maybe it's
time to start charging for those Job listings . . .
