GAY HOLOCAUST EXHIBIT COMING
TO OKC? Back in November, GayOKC.com featured
headlines about the exhibit "Nazi
Persecution of Homosexuals, 1933-1945" now on
display at the United States Holocaust Memorial
Museum in Washington, DC. That exhibit runs through
March and will go on tour starting in May. When I
learned the exhibit was going on tour I wrote to the
USHMM asking for information on bringing the exhibit
to Oklahoma City. A few days later, I received an
email from Lauren Kaminsky, Traveling Exhibitions
Director at the Museum with that information. Since
then I have spoken with the Oklahoma Gay and Lesbian
Political Caucus and the Cimarron Alliance Foundation
about getting involved in an effort to bring this
exhibit to OKC. If anything develops, I will post it
on GayOKC.com.

CIMARRON
ALLIANCE GROUP AT INAUGURAL BALL Well, how's this for a milestone in the
history of OKC's GLBT Community? The Cimarron
Alliance Group was invited to Gov
Henry's Inaugural Ball Monday evening, and, as you
can see, they accepted the invitation. Yes, that's Ed
Kromer and Joe Quigley - both Cimarron Alliance Group
board members - dancing AT the ball. The music was
live, of course, and the band was backing up a singer
who turned out to be none another than Anita
Bryant. Yes, THAT Anita Bryant! I kid you not!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Joe Quigley for the pics - I only wish I
had time to process and upload all of them tonight.
Several CAG board members attended the ball.
Hopefully they'll be posted on the Cimarron
Alliance Group website.
