PRIDE PARADE UPDATE Pride Network, Inc held their monthly
meeting last night and a complete report is now

is the first effort by GayOKC.com's new intern,
Michael Coffman. You can look forward to seeing more
of his work in the very near future!
NO MORE CLUBLIQUID I have received word from Windy City/clubliquid
owner Mike McLain that his establishment has in fact
been sold and an effort is underway to move the Laramie
Project cast party to Angles. I will have more
details as they become available.
CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES
ANNOUNCED Filing begins Tuesday in OKC's city council
elections. 4 have already announced their candidacies
for Ward 2 and Ward 8. Among the candidates for Ward
2, Susan Johnston has already spoken
at this month's meetings of the Oklahoma Gay and
Lesbian Political Caucus and the Central Oklahoma
Stonewall Democrats. One of her opponents, Bob
Bowman, will reportedly be speaking at both
meetings next month. A story on the candidates is on

EDWARDS CAMPAIGN COMES TO OKC Democratic presidential candidate Senator
John Edwards will be in Oklahoma City for a
reception and rally on Sunday, Feb 23, 1:15PM at
Langston University's OKC campus, 4024 N Lincoln Blvd.
This the first in a series of presidential candidate
forums presented by the Oklahoma
Democratic Party.
HEDWIG
IS BACK! Starving Shark's live stage version of Hedwig
and the Angry Inch returns in March and

The Marys, will be competing in a Denver NAGVA-sanctioned
tournament March 15 & 16.
FAMILY PRIDE OKC Family Pride OKC - a support group for GLBT
families - will be meeting Tuesday night 7PM at the
Church of the Open Arms, 3131 N Pennsylvania. A
representative from Lambda Legal will be speaking
about the upcoming Supreme Court case involving
