WARD 2 WATCH PARTIES At the Stonewall Democrats meeting on March
12, candidate Sam Bowman invited everybody to his
watch party at Kamp's Grocery at NW 25th and Classen.

watch party will be at VZD's at 4200 N Western,
starting around 7PM!
MORE ON ST PAT'S PARADE FROM

PNI FLOAT IN ST PATRICK'S
PARADE Pride Network, Inc was invited to
participate in Saturday's St Patrick's parade in
Bricktown. PNI member Joe Quigley has passed along 2
reports which can be read by clicking here. PNI is also
taking nominations for Grand Marshalls, which you can
email to pni@okcpride.com. And don't
forget the big fundraiser on Oscar night at Angles
next Sunday at 7PM!
DEMOCRATIC PRECINCT MEETINGS Jim Nimmo reports the following:
HD 85 had 32 people in attendance,
at least 11 of them gay/lesbian which by my
arithmetic makes 34%. Stuff it fundies!!!
Luminaries in the room included County
Commisioner Jim Roth, former candidates Bob Lemon
and Lou Barlow. I was elected chair of my
precinct, with Eva Jo Sparks as co-chair, and
former Governor David Walters as secretary.
Four resolutions were adopted concerning ERA,
death penalty moritorium, hate crimes
legislation, and support for Jay Parmley who is
state party chair.
Jacqueline Gatewood, former female co-chair of
OGLPC, was elected co-chair in her precinct, as
was Matt McNeill in his. Paul Thompson was re-elected
as chair in his precinct. And another member of
our gay family was elected chair of his precinct,
but I'm not sure how public he wants to be, so
I'll refrain from using his name.
Enthusiasm was high with a precinct party being
planned for the near future.
THANKS
FOR VISITING!
