OKC
VOLLEYBALL TEAM NEEDS PLAYERS I meant to post this some time ago but I
kept forgetting. Sorry guys! Joe Moore writes: "The
Hail the Marys have gone through some personnel
changes in the last few months and will be going
through some more in the days ahead. Realizing that
change is inevitable and mostly a good thing, we look
forward to growing our team and want to invite all
interested BB (intermediate level or higher) players
to contact either myself or Sterling about joining
our team. NAGVA - North American Gay Volleyball
Association - is a non-discriminatory organization;
so, our team can be comprised of males and females;
gay or straight. Initial contact should be made via
email, if possible, at: jmoore59@swbell.net or peshlakia_n@hotmail.com. If email is
not an option, interested persons may call me at (405)
440-9365."
INTERNSHIPS
AVAILABLE Internships are now available here at GayOKC.com.
I am in need of someone who can go out and cover
events and write reports on them to post on GayOKC.com,
which is something I unfortunately do not have time
to do myself. This is an unpaid position, and as such
is entirely dependent on what you are willing to
volunteer to put the time and effort into doing. This
is a great way to learn about OKC's GLBT Community.
You must have your own transportation, a computer
with Internet access, and, of course, some free time.
If you are interested, or you know someone who is,
please get in touch with me at rabiera@gayokc.com.
QUIGLEY
IN THE GAZETTE
Last week's Oklahoma Gazette has a few words
from the Chicken Fried News writers for the
administration of NW Classen High School regarding
the bulletin board situation: "We at CFN think
enough is enough. . . . Solve the mystery, already.
We'll be waiting." Joe's last update on GayOKC.com
is at www.gayokc.com/quigley041103.htm.
