Gay Teens fight back

Local News xxNews Updated 1-17-00
FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD FOR AL MCAFFREY FRIDAY
The following statement was issued today by Terry Gatewood, former president of the Cimarron Alliance Group:
Cimarron Board Member, Al McAffrey, is running for the District 4 seat of the School Board of MetroTech.  This district's boundaries are basically:  southbound Reno Ave, Westbound May Ave., Northbound N 36th Street, Eastbound Bryant Ave. The election is Tuesday, February 8th.  His opponent has never won an election, she was appointed nearly twenty years ago and has never had an opponent.  This election has become important as the MetroTech School Board has begun to consider adopting a policy of diversity.  The incumbent is reportedly opposed to such policy.
A campaign fundraiser is being held Friday, January 21st at the home of Troy Emde, 1214 Wilshire Blvd, OKC.  Sponsorships are $25-$50-$75-$100-$150-$250.  If you are interested in sponsoring this event and contributing to this important campaign please let us know. 405-842-1824
Thanks, Terry
