Tipper Gore at last year's fundraiser at the home of Mike
Turpen
TIPPER GORE RETURNS TO OKLAHOMA
Tipper Gore will be making a second
stop in Oklahoma to campaign for her husband, Al. She
will be in Tulsa on Tues, Feb 8 at Nelson's Buffeteria,
514 S Boston, in Tulsa at 5PM. Mrs Gore visited OKC last
August as a guest at a fundraiser held by Mike Turpen.
For info call the Tulsa County Democratic Party at 918-742-2457.
She does not appear to have any plans to visit OKC this
time.

Webmistress reports that 2 of the biggest of the GLBT-themed
movies to be released lately are on their way to OKC. Boys
Don't Cry, the fictionalized
account of Brandon Teena's story, starts Feb 18 at the
AMC Quail Springs 24; and All About
My Mother, Pedro Almodovar's latest
- abounding in Transgendered and Lesbian characters -
will be showing at the AMC Robinson Crossing 6 in Norman
