Jeers to Rep Gary Taylor for introducing HB1073, which relates to requirement of sheriff to provide food, clothing and cost of medical care for inmates.........this bill would cause the inmate to pay for any medical care he or she may need if the jailer says it was the prisoners fault. Like... if the jailer beats him up and it was his fault so he has to pay for it.....or he has to pay for HIV medical treatment because he is a disgusting homosexual who got it on his own.....etc......Call your Senator today to ask them to vote no.

Cheers to Rep Susan Winchester and Senator Bernest Cain for introducing HB1122, which would allow a person to deposit an unwanted newborn to a medical facility and not be subject to criminal prosecution. This will help prevent us finding more abandoned babies in trash dumpsters ...thereby saving their lives. Ask your Senator to vote yes.

Cheers to Rep Don Ross and Senator Bernest Cain for introducing HB1177, "An Act relating to hate crimes, which relates to malicious harassment based on race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin or disability; eliminating certain time period for reporting crimes to OSBI; requiring agencies to report crimes on forms prescribed by the OSBI." Unfortunately Sexual Orientation is not yet included in this bill. Call your Senator and ask them to include Sexual Orientation in the hate crimes legislation and pass it.

Jeers to Rep Russ Roach and Senator Kevin Easley for introducing HB1693 - Procedures for Abortion on Minors Act - This bill requires parental notification before a minor can recieve an abortion. This bill, if passed, will cause many underage women to die due to botched abortions. Government has no place in makeing reproductive health decisions for women. Call your Senator and ask them to vote no.

Jeers to Rep Bill Graves and Senator Jim Williamson for introducing HB1864, which attempts to censor anything we can access on library or school computers. The Christian Coalition wants to decide what we can and cannot see. Call your Senator and ask them to vote no.

Once again Senator Frank "The Chopper" Shurden and Rep Randall Erwin have introduced SB0042 which will embarrass the state of Oklahoma by making it legal to castrate people who have been convicted of certain crimes, even though the US Supreme Court ruled this behavior as cruel and unusual punishment back in the forties when Oklahmoma passed the law then. When will they stop embarrassing us? Call your Representative and ask them to vote no.

Jeers to Rep Joan Greenwood and Senator Glenn Coffee for introducing HB1185. This bill would allow the state to take custody of an unborn child and thereby incarcerate the mother who they think might be smoking, drinking or doing drugs. Have women's bodies become state property? Call your Senator and ask them to vote no.

Cheers to Rep Darrell Gilbert and Senator Bernest Cain for introducing HB1297 which would allow unused prescriptions to be given to another needy person who could use them. Call your Senator and ask them to vote yes.

Cheers to Senator Larry Dickerson and Rep Jari Askins for introducing SB0711 which would facilitate earlier use of mammograms to prevent breast cancer. A disproportionate number of our lesbain sisters are suffering from breast cancer and this bill will help to stop the marginalization of lesbian and all women's health care issues. Call your Rep and ask them to vote yes.

Jeers to Rep Jack Begley and Senator Kevin Easley for introducing HB1237, which would make it easier for huge corporate Swine Factories to locate next to neighbors' youth camps, churches, and rural recreation sites. It is just time to say to no to the Swine Factories who are polluting our drinking water, our air, our rivers and lakes and abusing their rural neighbors. Call your Senator and ask them to vote no.
