Tulsa was the site of the first statewide meeting held by TeamOK-USA (on Saturday, March 16). Sam Galati of Inta-Aussie was the featured speaker and answered many questions about Sydney and Australia put forward by the 42 people in attendance. His knowledge has proven invaluable to the Team as they prepare to compete in Volleyball, Bowling, Aerobics, Martial Arts, Track and Field plus several cultural events.

After the meeting and lunch, the OKC and Tulsa Volleyball teams held a scrimmage which elevated both teams into a new state of training. The entire bowling team also bowled several games at Riverlanes. After working together for the first time, they decided to enter not only single competition but also in doubles and team.

The highlight of the evening was the premeire of the "TeamOK Girls" at New Age Renegade in Tulsa. Nine of the members made their debut as TeamOK Girls. Catia Lee Love hosted the show and it was one of the best that Tulsa has seen in a long time. Not only did the "girls" surprise the crowd but they raised almost $500 in tips!! Since this show was to be a one time only performance, it was indeed a surprise to have an offer from Oklahoma City to perform the same show there. So look for the TeamOK Girls to be getting on the "Queen of the Prairie" and head to Oklahoma City soon.

TeamOK-USA is definitely on the move and we hope to have many more surprises in the near future.
