WHERE IS THE 39TH STREET STRIP?
2135 NW 39th Street is the address of The Center, Oklahoma City's Gay and Lesbian
Community Center, located at the corner of NW 39th & Barnes, the heart of OKC's Gay
Strip area (one block west of the light at 39th & Penn). Most of OKC's Gay bars are
located in a one block area around this corner. Tramps is across the street(other side of
Barnes). The Wreck Room is next door. The Park is next door to the Wreck Room. Angles
is - guess where? - next door to The Park! The Coyote Club is across the street(other side
of 39th).The Habana Inn is one block north. That's where the Copa, Finishline,The Ledo,
Gushers and Jungle Red are located.
